New Architectural Renderings for The Grove Retreat Center

Just in from our architects...new renderings of The Grove Retreat Center.

A quiet retreat to spend time with God, grow with others in Christ, explore creativity and all of the wonderful God-given gifts He has lavished on all His children.

Visual arts studios, media/sound editing rooms, dance studio, ceramics, and plenty of quiet space among the lemon and avocados groves...this is why we call it 'The Grove.'
What we value: Christ, Community, Creativity, Contribution, Culture
What are you looking for in a creative retreat center for the arts? I'd like to know...

What am I looking for in a Creative Arts Retreat Center?
I am looking for a place where I can learn more about how to worship God when I draw and paint. That is a skill that has not been taught or passed down to a lot of artists. I would like it to be a time of spiritual and artistic growth....where there would be Bible Studies and art lessons where we could learn from other artists (whether it be technique or how to use my art in minitry or how to make may way into having a career as a professional artist).

I'm looking for a place where I can:

1.) Seek God with regard to how he would have me to use my artistic talents for his glory.
2.) Fellowship with other artistically talented believers.
3.) Collaborate with other artistic Christians in order to produce new, exciting works of art which draw people closer to God.
4.) Share access to substantial material resources (e.g., a recording studio, music practice rooms, artists' studios, etc.) in order to enable me to spend my time there in a manner which is artistically productive.
5.) Network with other artistic Christians in a manner which enables us to mutually influence the culture in a manner which brings glory to God.
6.) Achieve personal career goals so that I will be able to spend the remainder of my life doing what I was called to do, while supporting myself financially, instead of constantly feeling as if I'm a "square peg in a round hole".
7.) Use my gifts and talents in order to build up other artistic Christians and help them to achieve comparable goals for the glory of God.
