How does Your Relationship with God Influence Your Creativity?
Since God is the Creator of the universe and we are imago dei, how does your relationship with Him influence your creativity as a reflection of who He is?

CHRIST IN ME is my only hope and source of creativity. His Spirit within must give vision, inspire, and anoint, or my feeble efforts will remain only that.
Jesus is THE ultimate creator, and THE source of all creation. To have access to Him as a source and not tap into it would be a tragedy. I wouldn't be making the art I'm making now without Jesus as my source of direction, inspiration, and ideas.
His breath on and in us is the exhale that we offer to the world. We don't give out the waste (as the body does with CO2), but we give forward what He is forming in us. Christ (the Word) and the Spirit (the breath) bring truth to what they touch. So should we. The more yielded I choose to be, the more purified what comes out of me will also be, according to the measure of ability I have been given. Therefore, my relationship with Him is essential.
At the same time this is true: God is the giver of the gifts and I know many non-Christian artists who have remarkable creative talents. We are all made in the image of God. The message a disciple puts forth, however, should be distinctly truthful, whether or not it is of a religious theme.
